Bridgerton‘s Luke Newton has made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Antonia Roumelioti, (via the Daily Mail).
The couple attended the BOSS One: David Beckham party in London on Thursday, marking their first official red carpet event. They posed with their arms around each other in a sweet embrace.
Newton, who is best known for his role in Netflix’s Bridgerton, was photographed in a stylish brown blazer and trouser set. Model and dancer Roumelioti wore a stunning black off-the-shoulder top with a matching skirt.
The pair were first romantically linked in April last year, before being spotted holding hands at a Bridgerton afterparty in June. They were later seen together on a romantic holiday in Italy, but have yet to officially confirm their relationship.
The actor was previously linked to his co-star Nicola Coughlan, following their starring season on the hit Netflix series. After seeing Colin and Penelope’s love taking centre stage, fans were convinced of the duo’s real-life chemistry.
However, in an interview with Extra, Coughlan addressed the fan theories and put the relationship rumours to bed.
“We think it’s really sweet,” she said when asked about them dating. “I think because we truly love each other.”
“He is a really special person in my life, and I got to do this experience with him. I’ll never get to do something like this again, on this scale… It’s so nice having such a lovely friend that I can do all this with.”
Elsewhere, Newton recently landed his first leading role in a live-action film, alongside Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale. The sci-fi thriller White Mars follows microbiologists fighting to save their fellow crew members from a “malevolent entity whose sole intention is to extinguish them all”.
Bridgerton seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
